While consumers spend on various categories during Mother&#8217;s Day; food, drinks and dining out remains one of the largest spending categories.<\/p><p>To better understand how American adults are planning to dine out with their moms on Mother&#8217;s Day, we surveyed 650 American adults and asked them about their restaurant plans for Mother&#8217;s Day this year. Another 19.7% plan to take their moms to fine dining restaurants while 14.8% plan to take their moms to casual restaurants on Mother&#8217;s Day this year. 3. Americans expect to spend an average of $185 on dining out on Mother&#8217;s Day. $ 0 Americans who are planning to take their mom out to a restaurants on Mother&#8217;s Day expect to spend a total of $184.90 on average. 4. 86.9% of Americans expect to spend more on Mother&#8217;s Day dining this year compared to last year.
