Punjabi Chaap Corner is Canada's best-known destination for chaap - 100% vegetarian Punjabi food built around soya chaap and plant-based meat, from afghani and malai chaap to tandoori momos, chole bhature and kulcha. What started as a single counter serving guests who wanted the taste of tandoor without the meat has grown into 15 locations across Canada, with Barrie and Ottawa opening soon. Their promise is simple: the same bold, fresh, made-to-order flavour at every corner.
Punjabi Chaap Corner's growth created three problems that get harder with every new store: fragmented ordering channels, no shared view of the customer, and no consistent way to run the brand across franchise locations. Third-party delivery orders arrived on their own tablets and had to be re-keyed into the POS by hand, which slowed the line during dinner rush and introduced errors on a menu where a single modifier changes the dish entirely.
Payments ran through terminals that weren't tied to the POS, so every close involved manual reconciliation. Menu updates and new launches had to be rebuilt separately for each channel and each store, meaning a new item could be live in one city and missing in another. And because most new guests discovered the brand through delivery marketplaces, Punjabi Chaap Corner had no way to recognize them, reach them again, or bring them back through its own channels. There was no loyalty program, no first-party customer data, and no single dashboard showing how locations compared.
Snappy rolled out a single connected platform across all 15 Punjabi Chaap Corner locations: POS, integrated payment terminals, KDS, branded online ordering, delivery integration and loyalty, all running on the same system. Uber Eats, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes and the restaurant's own website orders now flow directly into Snappy POS and print to the kitchen automatically with no extra tablets, no manual entry, no lost tickets during peak hours. Payments are processed through terminals tied to the POS, so totals reconcile themselves at close.
Online ordering gave the brand a direct, commission-free channel it controls, with the full chaap and momo menu, modifiers and location-specific hours managed centrally and pushed to every store at once. Snappy Loyalty sits underneath all of it: guests earn and redeem the same points whether they order at the counter, from the website, or for pickup and delivery, at any Punjabi Chaap Corner in the country. For the first time, head office can see sales, order mix and customer behaviour across all locations in one dashboard and use it to decide what to launch next.
